Set Multiple Customer Management (MCM) Connection

Google's Multiple Customer Management (MCM) is a feature in Google Ad Manager that allows larger publishers or ad networks (called "Parent Publishers") to manage ad inventory and revenue for smaller publishers (called "Child Publishers").
There are two types of MCM connection:
- Manage Inventory: The child publisher assigns their inventory to the parent publisher, who then manages it within the parent's account.
- Manage Account: The child publisher provides account access to the parent publisher, but the inventory remains managed within the child's account.
Why does Yieldbird require MCM connection?
Currently, MCM is necessary to have more than one Google Ad Manager account running on a single page view. Since Unfilled Recovery is based on adding new ad units handled within Yieldbird’s GAM, MCM connection is necessary. The type of connection we use is Manage Inventory (Yieldbird’s GAM is parent, Publisher’s GAM is child).
How to become a MCM (Manage Inventory) child partner?
- Yieldbird needs to receive information about your GAM account:
- GAM ID
- Email address used to set up the account
- Company name
- Yieldbird sends you an invitation to MCM Manage Inventory connection (it is generated within Yieldbird’s Google Ad Manager)
- Accept it, and you’re good to go!
