How does Viewability Tools work?

- First, you choose which viewability-boosting features you want to enable at the Domain level:
- Lazy Loading (deterring sending ad requests to ad units).
- Scroll Slowing (gently & gradually decreasing scroll speed when an ad is in view but not counted as viewable yet).
- Ad holding “Sticking” the ad unit to the top of the screen briefly when the user scrolls down the page.
- Then, for each Ad Unit, you decide if particular features are:
- Always enabled
- Always disabled
- Automatically controlled (enabled on selected pageviews only)
- If you enabled Automatic Control, the features are triggered based on the following logic:
- To reach a viewability level as close as possible to the target (default: 75%)
- To avoid using Lazy Loading when not necessary, as it may reduce the total number of ad requests
- AI-based predictions determine how often to trigger each feature, calculated independently for each Ad Unit and updated daily
Optionally, you can customize their parameters - how exactly they work.
