You can configure refreshing to occur only when the ad impression comes from (include) or doesn't come from (exclude) specific Advertisers, Orders, or Line Items.
How does it work?
- First, choose the type of targeting you wish to use: either exclusion or inclusion.
- Include means the ad request will be refreshed only if the impression comes from the specified Advertisers, Orders, or Line Items.
- Exclude means the ad request can be refreshed only if the impression doesn't come from the specified Advertisers, Orders, or Line Items.
- Specify what you want to include / exclude in refreshed ad requests based on:
- Advertiser IDs (as it appears in GAM)
- Order IDs
- Line item types (priorities) In such cases, the Yieldbird Platform automatically downloads the list of all Line Items from your GAM every 30 minutes and assigns information about their priorities. If a priority is set to be included or excluded from Refreshing, the system will automatically include or exclude all Line Item IDs within that priority.
- Line item names
- Line item IDs
- All IDs must be entered exactly as they appear in your GAM account. We cannot validate the correctness of the IDs you input.
- You can add new Advertisers, Orders, or Line Items to exclusion/inclusion rules at any time. However, switching between targeting types (e.g., from exclusion to inclusion) resets the rules, requiring you to reconfigure from scratch.
In such cases, the Yieldbird Platform automatically downloads the list of all Line Items from your GAM every 30 minutes and checks if their names contain the specified string(s). If a ‘name’ is set to be included or excluded from Refreshing, the system will automatically include or exclude all Line Item IDs containing at least one of the listed ‘names’.
