Bid adjustments

To ensure fair competition between bidders, one can use bid CPM adjustment. This feature allows for adjusting the gross value of a bid by the margin the SSP charges the publisher. For instance, if your contract includes a 10% charge, you can adjust your bid value accordingly to ensure your bid competes on its net value. This means that if another bidder incurs a 5% charge but places the same bid amount as the first SSP, their bid will win the auction because it is only adjusted by 5%.
How to set bid adjustments?
You set bid adjustments only for your own Bidders, under Setup > Bidders. You simply click to edit particular bidder in the Own Bidders tab, and set an appropriate adjustment.
Are Yieldbird Bidders also adjusted?
Yes. When utilizing Yieldbird Bidders, a 15% revenue share is applied. All bidders in the Yieldbird demand are adjusted accordingly, including the 0.15 from our revenue share. This ensures that all auction bids can be fairly compared based on their net value.
